providing support while navigating through life challenges and transitions.

Meet Jerry

Jerry Romero is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, relationship issues, addiction, sexual distress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder. His approach to therapy is grounded in creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Jerry believes therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. He works closely with each client to create personalized strategies that support meaningful, lasting growth, both individually and in relationships.

His therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), solution-focused therapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and collaborative therapeutic techniques.

Jerry is an advocate for mental, physical, and emotional well-being and values building authentic therapeutic relationships that help clients feel supported as they work toward positive, sustainable change.

He offers both in-person and virtual therapy sessions for adults, individuals, couples, adolescents, and families throughout Virginia.
